Rights of Neighbours in Islam
Islam places great emphasis on building a peaceful and caring society, and neighbour’s rights are a major part of this teaching. Both the Qur’an and Hadith repeatedly stress kindness towards neighbours, regardless of their religion.

- The Qur’an commands kindness to neighbours along with parents, orphans, and the needy.
- The Prophet ﷺ said:
“Jibreel (A.S.) advised me about the neighbour so much that I thought he would make him an heir.”
This shows the great importance of neighbours in Islam.
